Fun thing to make. Turkey burger with cheese in the middle. Super simple, three ingredients. Quick to make. This recipe makes one burger, scale it up if you want more.

Equipment

  • You need a grill.
  • Maybe a chef's knife.

Ingredients

  • 4oz ground turkey
  • 15g shredded cheese
  • 15g diced onions
  • 15ml egg whites
  • 1 English muffin
  • 15g light mayo
  • 5g S&B Wasabi Sauce

Preparation

  • Mix turkey, egg white and diced onions, and whatever other seasonings you want together in a bowl.
  • Split the mixed mass of turkey and stuff in half, then form each half into a patty about the diameter of the English muffin.
  • In a small bowl, microwave the cheese for ~10 minutes to soften it, then spread the softened cheese around the center of one of the patties.
  • Stack the two turkey patties and gently work the edges until they're merged, then gently wrap in wax or parchment paper and chill the patty in the fridge until you're ready to cook it.
  • Cook the patty over a grill or on your stove in a pan, I dunno...You do you.
  • Spread equal portions of the mayo and wasabi sauce on each side of a toasted English muffin, slap the cooked patty in the middle and enjoy!
    • NOTE: The cheese may be magma hot and will maybe want to shoot it's burning goodness into your mouth.  Maybe let the burger rest for a bit before diving in.
