Easy Tonkatsu

I found myself jonesing for some tonkatsu and rice for dinner.  I made that happen. It's surprisingly easy and inexpensive to make.

This recipe only covers making the tonkatsu, not the rice.

New Rice Cooker

Recently kicked my old, simple mini rice cooker to the curb in favor a Panda mini rice cooker from Yum Asia. Used it for the first time last night, the result was better than I've ever managed with the old cooker by a lot. Most importantly no scorching and clean up was a a breeze.  I'm looking forward to making more rice.

Very much worth the money.
